A refreshing spread or dip sauce. Suitable for raw vegetables, as bread spread or along with rice or potatoes. Very simple to make. A favourite in our family.
You need:
100g pine nuts
1 tomato
2-4 dried tomato slices (soaked at least 1 hour in water)
chilli flakes
salt
a bar mixer
Optional: 1 tablespoon of Tahin (Sesame purée) or 1 tablespoon of almond purée.
Put all the ingredients into a large cup and mix them with the bar mixer. The resulting cream in a glass with screw cap stored can stay fresh for about 3-5 days when kept in the refrigerator.
